These Terms govern your use of the Focus Studio website and any services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. Focus Studio operates in the Netherlands and these Terms are governed by Dutch law.
Focus Studio provides AI consultancy and implementation services to SMEs, including:
The specific scope, deliverables, timeline and fees for each engagement are agreed in writing prior to commencement.
Initial consultations are provided free of charge and carry no obligation. They are for exploratory purposes only.
A paid Focus Audit may be proposed following the Clarity Call. The Audit fee is agreed in advance and is deducted from the project cost if the client proceeds to a full engagement.
All projects are initiated by a written proposal or agreement confirmed by both parties. Work does not commence until agreement is confirmed and any required deposit is received.
Upon receipt of full payment, the client owns all custom deliverables created specifically for their project.
Focus Studio retains ownership of any pre-existing tools, frameworks, methodologies and general know-how used in delivering services. We retain the right to use anonymised learnings in future engagements.
Where third-party software or APIs are incorporated, their respective licences apply. We will inform the client of any material third-party dependencies.
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the engagement. This obligation survives termination for a period of 2 years. We will not disclose client names or project details publicly without explicit written consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by Dutch law, Focus Studio's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of profit or loss of data.
Either party may terminate an engagement with 14 days written notice. Upon termination the client pays for all work completed to date, and we deliver all completed work to the client.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website.
